what happens on the ship...

ends up on Blogger. :]
Lets start with day one, shall we?
ps; this does NOT make me a slutt, kayy? i just had a funn time.

well, on July 1st, i had to wake up at 4 in the morning to drive to the airport to catch our 6am flight. we flew from oakland, ca to dallas, tx. then caught a connecting flight to birmingham, al. Our first flight was delayed by 45 minutes, but once we got on, i sat next to my dad on the emergency exit row, with my mom and my sisters behind us [we flew Southwest, so it had open seating.] it was a two hour flight, so i read a little bit, worked on my Jonas Brothers list, but mostly watched Camp Rock and the Jonas Brothers Concert Experience on my iTouch. Once we changed planes, I sat next to my sisters. we all dozed off for that hour flight. I got off the plane, got my luggage, turned on my phone, and found out that KEVIN JONAS IS NOW ENGAGED TO THAT DANIELLE GIRL. mourned for a couple minutes, then started our 3 hour drive from birmingham, al to marietta, ga [where my grandparents live]. We stopped at a chick-fil-a. that was pretty good. alabama accents are so exaggerated though! we got to the hotel, and it was a really nice two bedroom suite. my younger sister and i shared the pull out bed, my middle sister had her own bed, and my parents had their own bed in their bedroom.

The next morning, we headed to my grandparents' house, and then drove to CrackerBarrell for brunch. It never fails, everytime we visit, that's where we go for at least one meal. I had the worst hamburger of my entire life, but I wasn't that hungry anyways. After that we went home, unpacked, and went to my grandpa's friend's house, and swam in his pool. it was nice, i worked on my tan a little bit. For dinner, we went to a restaurant called "barbeque street". it was SO good, i totally over ate. We came home, watched some TV, played some board games and went to bed.

The next day was super fun. We woke up in the morning, went to the Cheesecake Factory for brunch. I had the best sandwich ever. Then, we went to the Atlanta mall. It's so big! and the Hollister and Abercrombie were having a sale so i got two shirts at Abercrombie, and one at Hollister. They're cute. Then, we packed up, had a barbecue for dinner, and my grandpa pulled out the baby pictures. My dad was so cute as a baby and so... awkward as a teenager. :]

The next morning we woke up at 6 ga time [3 my time] and set out to our 6 hour ride to Mobile, al. That's where the ship boarded, for the cruise! We were all so excited. I listened to my iPod, daydreamed about Jonas & various hot guys being on the trip [half of the daydreams came true. :)]. Slept for part of it, and before I knew it, we were there.
Ugh, boarding is so frustrating though! you have to park the car, which takes 10 - 20 minutes. then go through three sets of security, and through customs, and have your passports checked. plus, the whole rest of the ship [like 7 or 8 hundred people] were trying to do the same thing. the lines were SO long. And it was REALLY humid. Which we aren't used to, being from California and all.
Once we got on the ship, our luggage wasn't in our rooms, so we went to have the lunch that was upstairs on what is called the "Lido" Deck. Once we got to our two rooms [one for my parents, and one for me and my sisters] we unpacked, and went to register ourselves for the clubs that were for our age groups. Kathryn in the 9 - 11 year olds. Maddy in the 12 - 14 year olds. and me in the 15 - 17 year olds.
Once we registered, we went to dinner [it wasn't formal night, so i didn't have to dress up, thank godd.] then after dinner was my teen club dance thing. I met Kaileyy first. We were sitting there, and i told her i liked her top, and things went from there. we just... clicked. idk, became bestfriends instantlyy.
We went and introduced ourselves to the other cute guys there. They included [but weren't limited too]: Matt, Alex, the other Matt, Ben, David, Seth, Taylor, Max, and Philip. It was just us girls and a bunch of guys, but we didn't mind. I didn't mention everyone we introduced ourselves to, because those boys are the main parts of the stories.
After the disco was a bunch of games up on the Lido deck, in the restaurant. I mainly flirted with Ben, and Max. and Kailey flirted with Philip. I mean, we flirted with everyone, but it was Ben's team that i was on for Texas Hold 'Em, and Max's lap that my legs were resting in. So, over the top flirting for those two. We went to bed that night, I walked home with another girl Haley.

The next day was our first day at sea. I hung out with my parents by the pool for a little while, then we did this picture scavenger hunt thing. That was soooo funn, and when i first started talking to David, since we were on the same team. We had to get in a hot tub together with a bunch of little kids and do the chicken dance. It was an interesting ice breaker, to say the least. After that was a which would you rather game, which was fun too. we had to come up with dares for the other team to. it was battle of the sexes, so it was funn. That was when Alex and I first started flirting. Who would know it would lead to an interesting walk home...
Dinner was the "meet the captain" super formal night. I wore this adorable dress. We had to dress up for our dance, twoo. but Kailey, Red [M'Kenzie], and I were the only girls that did. the guys did. So the club was funn. After that we ditched the nightly activities and Kailey and i went to change since we were going to the front of the boat, and it got really windy at times.
We got up to the boat, and the guys were there. I was cold, in short shorts and a tank, so Alex put his arms around me, in his suit, and we just started talking. I guess everyone saw our little moment, so they walked away. then kailey came up and we started talking nonchanlantly. Apparently, she had taken pictures of us, [which i'll post when she emails me them]. She pulled out my iPod and brought out the Spin the Bottle ap, and Alex had me spin in. and whaddya know? after trying 4 times, it landed on him. We were fliritng, making cute little remakrs about it. It went something like this, and I'm writing it so i don't forget.
Alex: so you like Ben?
Me: Like? No, i don't know him all that well.
Alex: so you think he's a cutie? you want to make out with him?
Me: yeah, pretty much.
Alex: what about me?
Me: The same thing about Ben, just a little more :]
Alex: Well, i feel the same.

Alex: so do you know spanish?
Me: yeahh. "Yo soy muy guapa!" just kidding.
Alex: No, "Ella es muy muy bonita."
&+ lots of jokes about everything being bigger in texas. :]
and stuff like that. Then when i was like "Okay, Cinderella has to go back to being a maid now." [my curfew was coming up. it was 11:45 and i had to be back by midnight.] he's like "Can i walk you back?" and i was like "I'd like that."
So we walked back. And when we got to my room, he looked at me, and i looked back at him, and he kissed me. It was a really intense kiss, too. It lasted for like a minute or two? It was like the greatest kiss i'd ever had. I was a little dizzy, and my knees were weak, so i said goodnight and went inside. but then it all hit me. I felt confusedd as heckk. cuz i thought i was going to be doing that with Ben, not Alex. Plus, Ben just turned 16. Alex will be 18 this year. And so i was just like... Wow. I was up all night thinking about it.

The next day was the day in Progresso. That was fun. We went and checked out the Mayan ruins, and then went to the beach. We went to the corona beach party, which is where everyone was from the ship. Saw Alex and Matt riding jetski's. Walked along the beach, had amazing mexican food and really good pina colada's, :] i had a gooooood time.
We went to dinner, and it was formal, but not as formal. So i just wore my dress to dinner, but not the dance thing. As it was, i was pretty nervous. i didn't know what to say, to act as if anything was different or not. But i soon found out that it was different. Because Alex was on the dance floor, bumping, grinding, and making out with this really slore-ish girl named Brittany. And i cared for all of like 10 seconds. then i calmed down, and remembered its vacation. he didn't have to be exclusive, but neither did I.
After the dance, we went to the hottub. he was trying to flirt with Brittany, but she was more interested in trying to figure out how much clevage she could get out of her bikini top. me? I was flirting with Ben and David and Matt and Max. And so was Kailey. I could tell it stirred up Alex, but it wasn't a jealousy thing. I honestly didn't care.
After that, we hung out on the deck. Matt was super nice to me. He and Alex have been best friends since like birth, and he apologized for what Alex did, and did his best to make me feel like i belonged, because after all it was me and Kailey that brought everyone together, that introduced everyone to eachother. I gave them their nicknames, "The Bromance." there was 5 of them. and Kailey and I were the girl branch of it. So since the nickname was my idea, i had to pick nicknames within that specific nickname. They were all "The _____ One." and i was supposed to fill in the blank. So we ended up with;
Matt; "The Sweet One"
Ben; "The Funny One"
Max; "The Nice One"
David; "The Cute One"
Alex; "The Flirty One"
Ben was SUPERDUPER flirty that night, we kinda kissed through the glass on the deck. ;] it was a joke, but at the same time, it was fun. I was having fun, while Alex was being pulled into Brittany drama.

The next day was our day in Cozumel. It was nice, because we got away from everything. We went to a beach that not many of the tourists knew about, so i didn't have to talk to the guys for most of the day. Except for Seth. The guy that sat by us at dinner. Who looks JUST LIKE TAYLOR LAUTNER. i'll explain that after the day-by-day thing. He was there. I swam in the ocean, got a sunburn, had some really good strawberry daquiris. There were little booths that were in the water, like rock climbing walls, trampolines, and slides for people to play on. it was fun.
We headed home semi-early. Took a nap, did some camp carnival stuff. Alex tried to be all flirty, but he didn't get any special treatment. why should he? That day, I mainly flirted with David. He messed with my brighttt pink cowboy hat that i bought. idk, its hard to explain.
dinner was semi-formal again. i wore a different dress, but then my little sister Maddy and I took sister pictures in our matching shirts, shorts, and black sandals. then i went to the teen disco club thing. Kailey and i each had like 8 diet cokes, and were hecka hyper, so instead of hanging out with the boys + brittany&sammie [these girls we constantly made fun of], we high tailed it to the karaoke bar. That was some fun right there.
Then i went to get my cowboy hat for Kailey. I'm not gonna lie, i took the long way so i could pass by the hott tub and say hi to everyone. I was surprised, when the slutbags weren't there, but i still didn't care. it was kindof comical though, when Alex pulled me aside to do some damage control. it went like this;
Alex: Hey, Olivia.
Me: yeah?
Alex: you aren't mad at me, right?
Me: -small laugh- mad? why would i be mad?
Alex: I think you know what i'm talking about.
Me: -pause- oh, THAT? why would i be mad about that? it's vacation, it's not like we're engaged. your gonna make out with other girls, and i plan on making out with other guys.
Alex: -pause- but... we are engaged!
Me: -sheepish smile- -shrug- guess i cheated on you.
Matt: -comes up suddenly- -puts his arms around me- With me!
Me: -laughing, halfway joking-
yeahh, it felt nice to do that. Not gonna lie.

The next day [and last full day] was at sea. I went to the pool with my parents, sisters, and Kailey at first. Hot tubed with Red and everyone for an hour. Went and played shuffleboard with Kathryn, Philip [aka; phili-cheesesteak], and Kailey. I canNOT play that game! i fail. :[
We went to the activities, but they were semi-lame. So we just talked to our advisor, Chris. He's a really nice guy.
We played Spin-The-Bottle, in an empty room. Not gonna lie, that was a LOTTTT of funn. i think i kissed every guy in there, we played for like an hour and a half. :]
gooooooooooooooooooooooooood times. :]
Went to dinner. then went back to the club.
danced, talked to Seth, the GORGEOUS look-alike. ;]
Alex was always looking over, but i don't care. i think.
We signed t-shirts and stuff, and then i was walking home at like 12:45 [for the last night i got my curfew extended til 1am], i bumped into Matthew and Brittany, and they offered to walk me home. I shrugged, thinking they couldn't ruin my goood nightt:]
Brittany was complaining about Alex making out with another girl named Katie. She actually had the nerve to say "the day after we make out, he makes out with some other girl. how rude!" with me standing RIGHT THERE. it was one of her more stupid moments.
when we got to my room, she wanted me and Matt to kiss, but he had a girl back home, and i couldn't stop picturing Alex. So i politely declined, went to bed.

I got up the next morning, and checked out next to them in line. Matt gave me his number, and asked for mine. Alex asked for mine too, and by the time i had been on the road for 5 minutes, they had both texted me. they had a long 10 hour drive back to Texas, where they're from. so i talked to them, and i guess without actually making up, Alex and I made up, and we were cool. i flew home, got home wayyy to late, and then got up.
and i'm now here, struggling to finish this and keep my eyes open.

oh, the taylor lautner story. he sat a table across from us at dinner, and was always staring at me! shoot, i was staring too, because he looked JUST LIKE TAYLOR LAUTNER'S TWIN. on the last night, he came up during the disco and introduced himself as Seth. He was really quiet, but really sweet at the same time. my sister took a picture with him, to prove the facial similiarities.

so what did i learn?
that its okay to make out with lots of people. :].
that being me was enough for some people.
and that older boys are always better kissers. :]

i'll post the pictures in a different post tomorrow, because i haven't uploaded them to my computer.
